4 Paws 4 Life Animal Rescue (Colorado)

This great organization was established in 2012 with the mission: “to show grace and mercy to the animals entrusted into our care and to find them families that will do the same." Not only does 4 Paw 4 Life take in owner surrenders, but they also rescue animals from terrible conditions such as dump sites and high-kill shelters. They take these animals in with injuries, fleas, worms and more and work to get them the treatment needed to show them the love they deserve. Once these animals are healed and healthy 4 Paws 4 Life finds them loving families to call their forever home. Their main facility is located in Sedalia, CO and they also work together with volunteers and fosters to try to get these animals into a loving home while they await their forever family. 4 Paws 4 Life works hard day in and day out to make a difference in their home state of Colorado as well as Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. 

4 Paws 4 Life has focused on saving animals that are destined for euthanasia at high-kill shelters as nearly 50% of the eight million animals in shelters around the nation are euthanized each year due to limited space and resources shelters receive. In the 10 years 4 Paws 4 Life has been active they have been able to rescue more than 13,000 animals from these high-kill shelters throughout the country. Through the help of donors, adopters, partners and sponsors 4 Paws 4 Life has been able to continue their mission and take on the cost to vaccinate, medicate, house, feed and transport the animals they take into their care because no one can do it alone.
